Task Force Web Policies
Billing
Task Force Web will collect the sum of the website to be developed via online transaction before work begins on the website. As soon as the total amount of the project is received and the order issued, we will begin development.
Rights
Upon full payment of all fees and costs, the rights to the use and duplication of the designs and/or artwork transfer to client. Task Force Web will also provide design source files as requested. Due to font and photography licensing issues, Task Force Web generally retains the rights to all original, editable source files. Release of source files will be negotiated on a case-by-case basis.
Purchases
All purchases made on client’s behalf will be billed to client. If the client requests us to purchase stock photography for the website, we will send you an invoice before, which must be paid in advance of us purchasing any stock photography.
Errors and Omissions
When artwork is being finalized, either for print or for handoff, the client will be given a final proof for approval. After approval of this final proof, Task Force Web will not be held responsible for any errors, typographical errors or omissions of text or content in the artwork. If changes are needed after final approval, more maintenance hours may be purchased in the store.
Change Orders
Change orders are defined as requests that extend beyond the original scope of the project under contract. Task Force Web will include 2 hours of maintenance time for each website at no additional charge. These hours can also be applied to changing any aspect of the project, after work has been started and/or completed by Task Force Web, which had been previously approved by the client. After the standard maintenance hours have been used, more time may be purchased at the store if needed.
Professional Recommendations
All work performed by Task Force Web is considered to be that of a professional service. During the course of development on a project, Task Force Web will occasionally make recommendations based on our extensive knowledge and experience in our field. In the event that a client makes a decision to disregard our recommendations, Task Force Web will not assume any liability that results from not adhering to the professional recommendation provided by Task Force Web.
Content
We must be in possession of all approved and finalized content, written or otherwise, that will be presented on the website before development on the site can begin. Any changes requested of the content after it has been approved, and beyond the two hours of built in maintenance time, will be considered a change order and additional hours will have to be purchased prior to any changes being made.
